What should I do if I forgot or can't reset my password?

There are three main types of accounts used at CUIMC: Columbia UNI, MC domain/CUIMC email, and NYPH CWID. All have their own websites for password management and account troubleshooting. Use the appropriate website to immediately pick a new password for the account:

Columbia UNI - Manage My UNI

Select the Change My Password or Forgot My Password link. If you need more help with UNI account issues please contact Columbia's main support group, CUIT, at 212-854-1919.

CUIMC Email/MC Domain - myPassword

Select a link to Change or Reset your password. When resetting a forgotten password, you will be prompted to answer security questions you selected when first setting up a profile in myPassword.

Before picking a new password please try to set any phones, tablets etc. that are configured for your CUIMC email account to airplane mode to prevent a locked account.
You must have already set up a profile (selected security questions and answers) on the myPassword website in order to manage your CUIMC email/MC account.

If you are not able to successfully change your CUIMC email/MC password:

For other accounts see the CUIMC Applications and Access page.

NYPH Center Wide ID (CWID) - oneID Password Management

Enter your CWID and click Continue, then select the Problems signing in? link to reach options to reset, unlock, etc.
For help with your CWID and the oneID site please see links to the User Guide and contact information under the About Your CWID section of oneID.
